Default 4 channel amplifier

Please suggest a good 4 channel amplifier. I plan on running the stock speakers around 75-80rms.

Are you looking to ad a sub as well? if so you will want an amp with a high pass filter .
i would look at an alpine mrp-f240 retails for about 220.00 has true 40wx4 @ 14.4volts and has HPF and hi and low level inputs depending on what your source is and has a small enough footprint to fit under a seat

It shouldnt exceed 300. Its a small wattage amp. Im lloking at a 40x4 that i can bridge down to 80 at a 2 or 4ohm load. No more than a 75x4 at any load

Default Infinity

Hey, just this past weekend i installed a 4 channel amp in my tc with stock speakers, i spent alot of time looking up what amp to got and decide to go with an Infinity 7540a, has 111x4 rms and 239x4 peak, and with the stock pioneers it sounds amazing, i did the high fi input and it came out very nice. I want to pu the infity 6.1 componets but thats next. But i highly recommod the amp, it very powerfull, clean, never clips, and for price its great, Circuit City had it for 230, cheaper and more powerfull than most amps.

Im thinking of an alpine or eclipse. I have a kicker 800.2 but its a little overkill and its huge.

I installed the e4300 under the passenger seat of my TC. http://www.jlaudio.com/amps/e4300.html
MSRP on this amp is $339.95.

the e4300 seems a bit much for the wattage you receive. JL amps are good for subs but the sound quality is questionable. I think i might go with a alpine or eclipse.

you go ahead and put your 2700 watts on those poor stock speakers and see what happens.......

Point in Case.....he's not talking about putting some 15's in his tC......all he wants is a SMALL amp for his STOCK speakers......

There are lots of great name brand companies to choose from, mentioned earlier Infinity and JBL have some great options on 4 channel and 5 channel amps. The JBL/Crown mobile audio amps sound very sweet and clean. Do not make it harder than it needs to be, the golden rule is “begin with the end in mind” and it is likely you will not be changing your system half way through the build out.

www.infinitysystems.com

I would like to test that $270 mobile audio amp that puts out 2700 Watts RMS, I would like to see how it stands up against this 3K watt champion.
