Did they actually take the time out to look at your car? And give you a reasonable explanation to why it would be "normal"? I would suggest getting a couple of more opinions before jumping to the conclusion that it's "normal" to have a clunk noise associated with your car.

Well,i took it back and they checked it again and guess what was the problem,7 month ago they replace front and rear brakes, they left the front callipers lose,so that means i was in a edge to get into a accident at any time, but thank God that was not the case.replace by certify mechanics thats what they"re call.and now what a difference, fills like a new car.done at Stewart toyota, lake park fl.

This is why I do all my own work, even if it costs me more to take off work than it costs to pay someone else to do it. Many years ago after leaving a shop I noticed a severe wheel balance problem on the front of my built 450hp 68 Camaro SS 396. I pulled over and discovered that I only had 2 wheel studs left on one of my front wheels and the 2 remaining studs/nuts were loose. The shop that serviced it had either left all the lug nuts loose or over-torqued them and caused 3 of the 5 studs to snap. Lucky for me I was only doing <60mph when they broke. Ever since then, whenever I have tire/wheel service done, I re-torque the lug nuts in the parking lot before I leave.
