Anyone else have the rear wiper boot fall off in drive through car washes? (the boot that covers the main bolt on the rear wiper)

On my very first time through a car wash it came off. They retrieved it for me and I put it back on. It just snaps on and it certainly doesn't feel very secure when it is snapped into position. It pulls off pretty easy. To be safe, I put a dab of clear liquid cement on the part and snapped it on and it hasn't come off since and I have been through at least 5 washes since.

it IS very easy to pull off. Im not sure why its so easy. Maybe to make it easy to customize? But i havent yet had a problem with it just falling off... sorry

I am sure it has a lot to do with the car wash itself and the equipment they are using. Still, I am suprised no one else's has come off.

In any case, it is something to be aware of. It's good to check on it if after you go through an auto-wash just to be sure it is still there!

I have run mine trough a number of washes since getting my Box and nothing has fallen off but does anyone else have a problem with the rear wiper not making full contact on the glass?

I only hand wash my baBy, not machine's going to beat on my Box. Seen too many bad things happen/heard bad stories too.

The wiper barely makes contact. I've never had it raining hard enough to make two wipes without streaking. I took it off and just Rain-X often. I may have to put it back on until the rain stops tho, now that my fab spoiler changes the aerodynamics back there. Gets some big drops falling from the bottom of the spoiler onto the window...
