Im interested because i may be getting one this week PSyCHo-RaGe 02-15-2005, 09:45 PM I love it, not very loud, just a nice low tone, and you can feel the difference. My suggestion is that you have it welded on both sides.... I originally just used the clamps, and the rear section started to leak, only cost me $30 to have it welded so i'd say its worth the extra money. 02-16-2005, 01:05 AM yeah I would also recomend welding it up. the clamps are cool but you know your gonna be pushing it. :D 05_blue_onyx 02-17-2005, 08:13 PM i love the exhaust sounds great when i get on it very easy to install :silly: sofakingdom 02-18-2005, 12:01 AM I REALLY LIKE MY MAGNAFLOW!!! Great sound - not at all obnoxious. Increased interior noise considerably though. Disregard if you already know the following: Be advised that the "slip fit" connection at the catalytic cut off wasn't exactly a "slip fit" - extremely tight. Highly recommend welding a merged fitting or flanges. Also, use a reciprocating saw (SawzAll) at the cut off - use a hacksaw if you want to use up some vacation days and risk damaging the O2 sensor. its_ikon 02-23-2005, 01:36 AM the true cat-back exhaust is the best out for the xB. all others trying to play catch up. the next best for the xB would be stylis's axle back hotbox05 02-23-2005, 01:43 AM I personally dislike the sound of the magnaflow catback , too ricey IMHO. But to each their own , as long as it adds a lil bit o kick . unlmtdndeavor 02-23-2005, 07:41 AM anyone have the dyno numbers for this exhaust? 05_blue_onyx 02-23-2005, 08:20 PM here you go the results http://www.magnaflow.com/05news/magazine/importr.asp |
