View Full Version : who's rolling EQUIP 01's ? hawaiian_xB 02-15-2005, 08:38 PM i'm looking to get a set soon and would like to see them on some rides! http://www.autornd.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/equip01k.jpg disco 02-15-2005, 08:45 PM Who is the wheel contact? They look good, going small on the rim and a liitle fatter on the wheel. I want a Hooker Red one so bad, I am truly debating going for a new paint job. PandaIst 02-15-2005, 10:32 PM equip 01 are made by Work. squirrel 02-15-2005, 10:37 PM Jim and Shelby are the only ones I know of at the moment. PandaIst 02-15-2005, 10:41 PM http://teamprototype.com/cfparts/scion/frontside_01.jpg http://teamprototype.com/cfparts/scion/rearside_01.jpg My fav xB/Bb i've seen to date. Aquakeeper 02-16-2005, 12:18 AM What affect does that have on the ride of the box? Smoother then larger rims with skinnier tires? Also....do u need to do anything other then small rims and fat tires? Does it do anything to the gears running such fat tires? Like if u where to run big tires on a truck, it messes up the gear ratio. Is that a issue? Any ideas? Just curious clear_bra_guy 02-16-2005, 01:11 AM PandaIst wrote: My fav xB/Bb i've seen to date. Any ideas? actually they are 15' just like stock only wider but they are only 195's Aquakeeper 02-16-2005, 02:42 AM So no other alterations are needed? Just 15" rims and phat tires? Any spacers? They stick out a good bit from the body, whats the offset? Do the cops not care about having the tires being flush with the wheel well? Pretty sure thats a ticket around here..... bB86gts 02-16-2005, 03:05 AM thats what the flairs are for... jp Aquakeeper 02-16-2005, 03:14 AM Would any rim with a 15X7 size and bigger tires look as good as those? From what I have seen the rims are $1500 alone and only available in Silver. I wouldn't mind finding somthing similiar in white with a chrome lip. What size tires are they? Would these have the same effect as yours or would it just look like small rims because they aren't deep dish like yours? http://www.whalentire.com/wheels/adr/pictures/conceptprosinglewhite.jpg Offset: 40mm Size: 15X6.5" bB86gts 02-16-2005, 03:34 AM i dont think those works are 15x7...cuz 195s would look somewhat normal...to acheive that stretched look...those works have got to be at least 8" wide....ive seen these in person and i dig them alot...theres gotta be crazy offfset on those as well...i wouldnt doubt if they were damn near zero offset...would have loved a set of those for my 86... im currently eyeing these beauties.. http://www.impul.co.jp/products/wheel/wheels_img/SILHOUETTE_im_350.jpg http://www.impul.co.jp/products/wheel/wheels_img/SILHOUETTE_15in_180.jpg thats right, hoshino impul silhouette!!!
