Thumbs up ARK V.2 tC Short Shifter Review *pics*

Got this installed Sunday... best $180 Dollars I've ever spent! Feels like I'm driving a completely different car. I got it from Meng Motosports (sweet company) http://stores.mengmotorsports.com/-s...ter/Detail.bok

I'm very satisfied with the throw and height reduction! wheather you decide on the ARK short shifter or what ever short shifter... I highly recommend you get one! Its definatly worth it! Really fun to drive now.

and what the hell... camera was out so here is a couple random pictures of my car lol.

the box says: Precise ergonomic design to reduce shift travel between 25% and 54%... and on ARK web site specifically for the scion short shifter it says 49% throw reduction.

So I don't know the exact percentage... but it feels about half the amount of work to shift compared to OEM.

Love it!

I have always wondered if the height reduction is comfortable. I know in race applications they make the shifters longer while retaining the short throws thus there is less time traveled from steering wheel to shifter by the right hand...
But for DD mode, is it comfortable? I am considering this or the TWM, Since Doc I isn't making any shifters right now.

I shelled out the money for this short shifter. I ordered the Megan Racing SS a while ago, but it was on back order for a while so the company gave me my money back so I spent it on other stuff for my tC. I was between the TWM stage 2 and the Ark V2; since the TWM didn't come with any bushings or a shift **** I went with Ark.

Height and throw were reduced significantly and quality seems top notch. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.
