I am wanting to do 8's so I dont have to build the box as big also so then I can go to a higher wattage. Cause it seams all of the higher wattached 10's take more space.

Thanks all!

This post was actually started cause I was trying to find the post about your box. I have put some thought into it an I think that I may stay with a square box. I am too afraid that the sub will get a hole kicked in it.

Peace,
Mark D

Bill,
Specs would be great. I have not yet measured out everything. Do you have 2 under the seat or just 1. I am going to do a sub under both seats.

If you could email the specs to markdensford@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Peace,
Mark D

If you were me you'd put the Pioneer Premier TS-SW124D Ultra Slim 12"
sub under the front seat it only needs .06 cu. ft. of air space & has a mounting depth of 3 5/8" !!! I got it with a JL e1400 amp mounted in the storage compartment in the back. Sounds AWESOME!!!

DO YOU THINK I COULD SQUEEZE A solo baric l7 12" under the seat. I know they require minimal airspace.

AnL7 requires .73 cubic feet minimum, the most you get under a seat without it sticking out is .51 mounting deptight be an issue. Al710 would work. Bill

yep, 1.25 inches, you have one cubic foot extenal if I am correct, I used 1\2" stock, and effectively loss more than 1\3 of my volume, plus basket displacement.
