My friend has a set of is300 17in wheels and I'm still rollin on stock ones for my tC.
Just have a few questions about em for you scionlife peeps.

1. Will they fit? (lol.)
2. and what do u guys think, if i paint em bronze or gold?
3. if i do that, should i keep the lip chrome?

stock looks better...i've seen lexus IS350 rims on XB, looks really good but i noe it wont fit our TC

they were free rims and i wanted to get away from my stock ones.

 

just get adapters 5x100 to 5x114.3 and they will fit

Also depends on the offset. If it's already a low number, the adapters might push them out a little too far.

 

those rims have a high offset of like 45-50

 

get the adapters/spacers, paint 'em gold with a silver lip, and DUU ETT !!!

the 5 spoke ones (like the lexus ones)
and mesh ones =]

my friend Joe is givin these to me for free and even being a real bud and doin the paint with me also =]

just so that you are aware, the spacers/adapters are going to cost you, but if you shop around it shouldn't be too bad... and don't forget to figure in the cost of the paint...

the offset of the wheel is a measurement of the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the hub mounting surface... but to make it easier to understand, it basically tells you how much a wheel might stick out of (or tuck inside) the fender.

 

yea i get the offset part like how much they will "poke"
im not really much of a baller to consider the poke like other peepz here lol.
kinda tight on the cash too but moneys saved to buy some used wheels and some h techs.
so thats straight.
and as far as the paint goes he has both bronze and gold =]
