i couldn't find any threads on door edge guards or guard strips (whatever you wanna call them) so i'm wondering if anybody know of any local stores or online that sells good quality guard strips for our doors?

i hate having to hold my breath everytime someone opens the passenger door. i'm afraid they're gonna hit another car or something else even though i tell them to open it carefully.

i need something that will not stand out so much. my car is black so i don't think that should be a problem, but don't want anything to bulky or noticable.

You can get black plastic 1/4" trim molding in rolls at most auto parts stores.

 

try autozone get the black no matter what color your car is, the clear yellows and the chrome is ghetto
