I was thinking about getting my car wrapped in matte or satin black vinyl, i have too many rock chips and a pretty nice side scratch on the pass side of my car, and i've always loved the look of flat black cars. vinyl lasts 7 years with no maintenance, and its cheaper than getting the car painted, and if i get bored with it in a few years i can peel it off. and it wont hurt the value of the car like painting will.

I've heard this is how a lot of the popular flat black cars are done these days. Just seems easier.
I remember Tina talking about it a while back.

I love the way it looks, but won't it look weird when your doors are open, since the door jam can't be done, and when your hood is up?
