Any suggestions on some lightweight wheels?

The look is important, so is the price... I'd get volks, but my pockets aren't that deep.

lightweight = pricey.

most cheaper rims manufactorer's don't give a damn about the weight,
they just smack a rim together and give it to u at a cheap price.

you gotta "pay to play".. volk racing te37's are ULTRA LIGHT! im talking about
like less than 10 lbs for some of their rims! its crazy and they're crazy
strong.. fully forged..

motoforge.com has forged rims for a affordable price. email me if you want a
direct contact with them. they have fully forged rims(even the centercap) and
their prices are a lot better than volk racing..

as for non forged rims, i always recommend 5zigen's FN01R-C's.. they are around 1000~1400 depending on size and tire choice.

motoforge's site should be up soon.
i saw a few rims with my buddy jdmxb
in person.. we were pretty impressed.
they have some nice original designs..
simple 5 spoke with the anodized titanium look finish.
some w/ polished lips.. and also they had a rim
simular to the ce28n. but fatter spokes..
anyways keep checking on there..

rota makes some nice lightweight wheels...their 15's weigh 11lbs if i remember correctly....and they are affordable, $400 shipped!!! my friend and i have been rota fans for a couple of years now and have never had any problems w/ them. their circuit 8's are sweet.

yeah, I spotted the rota's on modacar.

I was afraid they'd be weak or low quality.

Anyone got pics of rota's on a scion?

Or even 16s on an xB.

choices choices!

Does anyone know how much the stock steel rims weight? They got to be at least 20 lbs.

they are definite not weak wheels...our roads out here pretty much suck and have put our wheels to some extreme punishment...no bends, cracks, etc... they make great autocross wheels.

Yeah Rota wheels are great bang for the buck. Pretty light weight and pretty solid. But after a while the finish dulls and the some of the coating chips off. Basically you pay for what you get.

Just please do not put Mugen knockoffs from Rota on your Scion!!! It's just wrong!!!

I was looking at the subzero, they're RacingHart Rip-offs. I would not commit heresy and put fake mugens on a scion!

LOL.....I was going to slap my Rota's C8's (Mugen MF8's KO) on my box as a joke but then I thought I was already being bad by owning knockoffs and it would be even worse if it was on car that it wasn't even meant to be knocked off for.

Friggin rules of engagement soldiers......

No R34 Skyline style kits on your Civic!!!!!
No Mugen knockoffs on anything but Hondas!!!!!!
No Altezza tails except for on Altezzas!!!!!!!
