Hey guys,
Do anyone know of any junkyards or salvage yards in Los Angeles, particularly anything in/around the San Fernando Valley area?

My back bumpers got some dents and my front bumpers have some nasty scrapes. Additionally, my passenger visor is broken. I would like to go to a junkyard/salvage yard and try to get replacements for cheap.

Thanks, and please let me know.

Regards,
Joe G

this is the spot to go to in the valley and you might be in luck because i called late last week looking for bsp bumpers and they said that they had a grayish looking front and rear bumper which i know is flint mica.

Sun Valley is definitely the place to go. Aside from the dozen auto dismantlers there they also have a Pick U Parts.

^been to the pick a part there and they had nothing but old shells since pretty much the rest of the car was taken apart, i used to work in sun valley and before i found out about toyota world i would go from junk to junk looking for tc parts. be aware that alot of them sell fake quality parts that are really cheap

Pick U Part sucks, mostly 1990-era cars or older. I will have to try Toyota World. Are they open on weekends, too?

So I dropped by Toyota World and met with the owner Joe. They definitely have some great deals. The Flint Mica bumper, unfortunately, has been sold, so I'll check in next week. He said he'll sell it for $100. Is that a good deal?

I also replaced both my visors. I got both of them for $40 altogether. Each one would have retailed for about $80 at the dealership =D

nice but i called on friday and they only had a fm hood for $250 and a unpainted front bumper for $100. dude if your getting the bumper already painted then go for it and damn i'm still waiting for a bsp to get a new front bumper and hood...actually i've been waiting for a really long time but it just seems like no bsp's get wrecked unlike the other colors lol
