Ok so Im new the performance side of cars. This may be a noob question so sorry. I have a 09 BRM tC and i had a question about the exhaust. I have a borla exhaust on it and i was looking to make it a little louder. I know you can take the resonator out but I dont want it to be raspy. Do s pipes increase the sound of your exhaust system? If so what brand should i get for my borla. I know i could get headers but i dont wanna blow $300 right now. Thanks ahead of time!

 

An s pipe will help with flow of the exhaust. If you want to be louder (which I don't suggest) you have to increase the size the entire exhaust system. My first question is what else have you done to the car. Second is it a full borla exhaust or just an axle-back. My advice is save your hard earned money and invest in real and reliable performance a Turbo-kit or supercharger. Making the exhaust a little louder is a waste if your still stock. You'll be happier with boost then you'll have a reason to increase the size of the exhaust.
Also research about forced induction before you make a decisions. Hope I helped you make the right choice.

Sorry for puttin this in the wrong section. GUNNIST14 thanks for your help. I havent really done much to the tc yet cuz im in highschool but i have 8k hids, fog lights, powdercoated black stockies, lowered on tein h tech, blue interior lights, grill, blacked out emblem. And as far as i know i have a full exhaust system..once again im a noob lol

 

oh and the only problem with gettin a turbo or supercharger is that i dont make much money haha. and im anxious to mod it lol. Plus i would want to wait till my warranty is up if im goin to turbo or supercharge it. I only have 17k miles on it
