Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has experienced these headers and if they are good. are they loud? will they annoy you after a while? any problems. thanks

 

they will be louder and will annoy you with rasp unless you get a pretty nice sized resonator

 

i have the megan header with the drift spec,its very loud, there is rasp also,i also noticed when i put on the megan header i lose quite bit of low end power but gain some mid-high end power

 

thanks guys this helps alot, i guess all headers are raspy and annoying after a while. oh well, maybe a turbo will be quieter lol

 

naaa a turbo wont be quieter but you'll never get tired of its sound and yea all headers are raspy unless you get a nice resonator. i just got headers/spipe to make mine a full header back exhaust and have an 18" resonator and luckily no rasp

 

what header and s pipe you got? i got a full cat back draxxas exhaust, a little loud i think i only have a 12" resonator...header may make it overpowering. is the rasp sound from the engine bay or the exhaust end?

 

weapon-r 4-2-1 header and s-pipe and then megan drift spec catback with a 18" glasspack resonator. and the rasp is from the exhaust end

 

mine is very loud,might go back to stock header......actually rasp is caused by the header itself cause larger piping and no cats......the muffler itself will determine how loud the cause will be
