Radio Install Help!
Everything works on my radio (dvd, ipod, cd...) except my radio. Can't get a good signal. I was told there's a power antenna wire or something. What wires do I have to hook up to get it? Only wire I see free back there is ONE blue one, no other ones to connect it to. Do I have to splice it in somewhere's?

Did you use a vehicle specific wiring harness to plug into the stock harness? If so there should be a blue wire in it. It may/may not be labeled power antenna. Hook it to the blue or blue/white wire in your radios harness.

So those 3 wires need to hook up together?
The only blue wires I have back there are these...
Blue remote wire that comes from my amp
Blue wire from the wire harness
Blue/white wire from radio.

as long as all your blue & blue/white wires are hooked up.. then you should be fine.. verify that your antenna wire is properly plugged into your radio.. and last..
what radio is it? brand/model?

Yeah, all the blue wires are hooked up, and antenna plug is in all the way. I had this radio, the exact one in my 1st 2nd gen before I traded it in and it worked perfectly. When I swapped it to this car I can't get a reception.

DO you have a power antenna on the car? You should only have to use the blue or blue/white to turn on an amp or signal a motorized antenna.
What kind of radio was in the car before? Was the AM/FM working on it?

or an amplified antenna.. and i believe the xb's antenna is amplified

Yes, my bad. I left out amplified antennas, which are more typically used in vehicles that have window/glass mounted antennas or low profile/shark fin antennas.
I have only had my xB for 2 weeks, and I do believe that the antenna is amplified.
Some radios will have 2 wires, a blue and a blue w/ white stripe. Others just 1 wire that is a Remote Turn-on, typically Blue w/ White stripe.
Blue = Antenna remote (only powers on when the AM/FM tuner is in use)
Blue w/ White stripe = Amp remote (this wire powers up anytime the head unit is in use)
As far as the reception issue, since the radio was in a previous xB did you redo the wiring harness or keep the old wiring and just plug it in?
Without metering the blue / blue w/ white wire to see if it is reading 12 volts positive when the radio is on, I would guess and say that either the tuner in the radio has gone bad (rare, but it does happen) or that the remote turn-on is no longer producing 12 volts + (a little more common) or that the antenna on the car is disconnected, damaged, or bad.

Had the stock radio in it that was working perfectly when I took it out.
Removed the radio from my old car, harness and all, and just plugged everything right back into this one and nothing.

its the orange wire on connector 1 thats the power antenna for the xB2(same connector that the power, ground, acc, front speakers are on). Connect your blue/white wire to it and it should work, if not check the fuses to make sure that they're good. And make sure the unit is sending power off that wire.

and to the OP.. when he says orange.. he means on the vehicle side of the harness.. not the orange for the aftermarket harness you have ;) then you'd be hooking your remote wire to illumination..
just look on the vehicle side of the harness for an orange wire.. follow it to the side where you installed the aftermarket harness.. see if there is a wire pinned to that slot.. if so.. hook your blue or blue/white to it.. if there is not a wire there.. then just strip back some of the insulation.. and connect your wire to the vehicle side.. no need to cut the wire.. just strip back insulation
