Hmmm ampage
So i have a pioneer avh-p4100dvd-freakin great HU. i have ifninity reference 6022i speakers in the fronts and stocks in the rear. Some days the bass really hits just fine. but i have another set of 6022i's sitting in a box at home. i want to use em. but the HU wont supply enough power the to the rear door for them to be effective. Im wondering is there a small (cheap) lil amp that i can get that will add some power to those rear so they hit like the fronts do? This way i wont even really need a sub (like i have room for one being a dj). Any suggestions. im looking to stay under 100. if i do get a sub later i will just buy a bigger amp.

it's 22wx4 rms.. your rears will get the same power as your fronts..
and if you DJ then you know where sound should come from.. the front.. if you get a small amp let it power your front speakers.. and run the rears off your headunit

should probably pay someone to do it or find a friend that knows how.. there's plenty of DIY out there
power wire from battery, fused as close as possible to the battery, through the firewall, under carpet, to amp, amp grounded to the vehicle close to the amp, remote wire from head unit to amp, rca's from headunit to amp, speaker wires from amp to speakers *or to speaker wires behind radio to the corresponding speakers, disconnect speakers to be amped from head unit*

Yeah, what Slody said! I'm with going for the amp powering the front, too. The backs will just be fill. They are so low in the door that the seats block most of the sound. If you can, get a sub: it will make the Infinity's sound better and add that needed bottom end. As to putting in a sub, take a look under your seats: there's enough space there to install a small enclosure 8", like a Rockford (needs only .25cuft internal volume). I've got a pair under the front seats (they share the space with loose change, lost pens and fallen french fries).

I did have to mount the amps over the spare, however. Not sure if you want to go through that trouble.

Another alternative for a sub is to get the Bazooka 8" built for the xB2, going for about $250-300. It's the same on that your Scion dealer sells for $500.
