I just got this off the California DMV's website:

"Starting January 1, 2005, owners of vehicles six or less model years old will pay an annual smog abatement fee for the first six registration years instead of being required to provide a biennial smog certification."

Unless I'm reading this wrong, no smog certificate will be required for six years!

How much is the smog abatement fee: $12.00!

Cheers,

It's another way of saying "We rich legislators drive new cars and don't want to have to hassle with smogging them. We just want the money so send it on in!"

all that means is go back to stock for a few days...as long as u dont do a custom motor swap...its all pretty simple. but hey...how often is a cop gonna pop a box
