View Full Version : OEM Headunit Brackets, NEED HELP FINDING THEM chekmi21 03-31-2010, 04:32 PM Anyone know the part number for these and where I can order them? I need to get them by Friday ack154 03-31-2010, 04:33 PM Um.. by Friday might be impossible unless you can find a nearby junkyard and check there. Even if we get you a part number, there isn't anywhere that I know of that would keep them in stock. That said, I'll see if I can find a part for you... ack154 03-31-2010, 04:34 PM Right: 86211‑21040 Left: 86212‑21040 List price is like $17 each About $11 each from TRDSparks. chekmi21 03-31-2010, 04:53 PM Thanks ACK. I'm going to call around, by chance to find them. Dangit. Thanks guys. Just to confirm, that these are the stock metal brackets that hold the stock head unit? ack154 03-31-2010, 04:53 PM Yes, they are. I just looked at the diagram. chekmi21 03-31-2010, 06:16 PM Called around, and you are right, no one has them in stock. 3-4 days for delivery. Appear to be, yes. chekmi21 03-31-2010, 06:29 PM Thanks, he has them. I should be able to get them shipped and delivered by Friday. Thanks so much for your help!!! chekmi21 03-31-2010, 07:51 PM Actually found them at a local dealership instead. They were $14.98/each but didn't have to pay for shipping. Thanks so much for your help. Now I can get my Pioneer AVIC-U310BT installed on Friday!!! ack154 03-31-2010, 07:53 PM Not a problem. One tip with the install... if you want to be able to close the radio door - you'll need to drill out the extra dimples on the OEM bracket and mount the stereo back a little bit. You'll see what I mean by the dimples when you get the bracket. Just drill them out, mount back farther into the bracket and the door will close. chekmi21 03-31-2010, 07:57 PM Yep this guy I know from this forum is doing the install. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to the tC so I'm sure he knows but I passed on your information to him as well. I will definitely want to close the radio cover, especially with an aftermarket head unit in there. |
