I have an 07s/c with 9.5 pulley and unichip tune. I am having a hard time deciding between upgrading my exhaust(all stock) or getting a w/m injection kit. I would eventually like to do both, but only have the cash to do one. Which would I benefit more from?

x2 meth/injection. i was running stock exhaust with meth/kit for a few years loved it. stealth, no one knew i was comeing lol... methpower --20-30-40-50hp etc with torque gains.. exhaust 10-15hp top.. slight torque gain if any.

 

I have searched and have found a lot of outdated and contradicting threads. cmcpride-50hp? I've never seen claims that high, was this s/c or turbo. Did you ever get a before and after dyno? Which kit were you using?

 

hahaha thats why i put etc after 50hp.. meaning no real number or cap for meth/kit set up. ok. lets say your 9psi and makeing 210-220hp no kit . with meth kit, 245-250hp depends on jet. exhaust on its own 215-218hp with 9psi. if you ever upgrade 10-12psi things get hotter with meth/kit 245-275hp with exhaust 10-15hp more if any. higher power more heat. meth kit will always out way the exhaust.. know more power more exhaust so in the end you will need to upgrade your exhaust.. met/kit first

 

im in the same boat as you. im trying to get more info on w/m but still cant find what kit people are using. let me know what you find

 

get the meth kit, unbolt the exhaust from the s-pipe, free up some power and sounds great : )

I rode a LONG time like this before i got my 3" setup, its not that loud either...

 

From what I have read a progressive setup works best with a centrifugal supercharger. AEM has one for @ $330 the controller is just a couple of dials that you set start and full points. There are a few others that have controllers with gauges, flowrate, warnings, etc.

Wow, free alternative to buying exhaust parts! I'm sure it sounds awesome. LOL

I will probably end up getting the AEM, there are so many choices though so it's hard to decide.
