I've been waiting for the right time to purchase a flat black xB2 lower lip overlay from Andy at Bluebatmobile and pulled the trigger today (Friday)! I'd hoped for same day turnaround, but that just wasn't to be :(. I'm told shipment by Tuesday and am naturally hoping for earlier :). Will post a photo when it's installed.

Lower Lip Overlay????? Do you mean the front Bumper Overlay that goes between the two grills? I haven't seen an overlay for the lip yet.

No, not the center overlay -- this one just covers the lip immediately below the lower grill. Of course, the two could be used together (probably will :)), but I'm only interested in the lowerlip for mine.

I've no idea how many've been purchased, though I think he only released it a few months ago. Still, mine's paid for, just waiting for it to show up :)!

Touch-up paint maybe? I've had to do that a couple times on the underside, fortunately, nothing head-on so far.

USPS mail can take a long long time. I work at a shipping store if you tell me your location I can give you a rough estimate on time with first class.

I'm in DE. In my experience, typical FC mail cross country is three mail days, but can be four, and in rare cases five. So worst case would be Monday, though I'd consider that to be exceptionally long. It would just be nice to know for certain I'm only awaiting delivery, and not shipment as well :(!

That may be the official _ss covering word, but my experience is as above. If it takes more than five mail days, then something has gone wrong (ie. USPS screwed up), normal is three, perhaps four.

Saying one to two weeks is better for them in terms of promoting Priority Mail -- which is usually two mail days but can be three. If either the sending or recieving office is out in the boondocks, then I can believe it taking a little longer for FC mail, and their statement has to allow for worst case, but from and to readily accessable locations is pretty reliably three mail days cross country. Three mail days from Tuesday shipment is today; however, I'm not holding my breath.

i was planning on getting one of the covers,, i should order it asap,, so my wife can give it to me for christmas.. lol.. I think they look very cool!!

Just an update. I've received word the overlay shipped yesterday -- seems there were some complications, but I'm happy to learn it's enroute.

I'm liking the new look very much, and I think it works well with the upper grill. I eventually want to try a black powder coat upper, but it's taking forever to get it prepared.

A little late getting back on this, but to be honest, that's not where I'm going. However, I'm very happy with the lower lip overlay :)! No doubt others will go for the combination -- best wishes :)!
