View Full Version : GREDDY EMANAGE
chicago_guy 02-18-2005, 08:19 PM has anyone used the emanage with there turbo kit? racing solutions told me that it will be a good idea to use a engine management with there turbo kits. ive done some reading up on the item. seems like a great product, and its not very expensive. ive seem them go any where from $260-$350. if anyone has used this please let me know. thanks guys :P
Joe_Dezod 02-18-2005, 10:40 PM scion speed uses it with their turbo kits.
it's a great unit, but only after ALL (and there a lot!) the bugs are fixed
kutsuju_dj 02-19-2005, 12:51 AM emange is great but its best to get it all tuned first.......

-Keith- 02-21-2005, 11:08 PM no u get your turbo tuned the emange will work better with a perfect turbo

dinkjs 02-21-2005, 11:30 PM Why not just use the Motec systems......seeing thats all they have ever made and thats what there known for
ZPIracing 02-21-2005, 11:32 PM The emanage is a very responsive form of engine managment and less difficult for a new user to learn. We will bo offering "pre tuned" box with our turbo kit.
AEM is by far more capable as it is a stand alone and does not rely on the Factory Ecu thus not being limited to the boundaries of the ecu. If you are new to this then I highly reccomend that you do not attempt either of these but especially the AEM. We are a AEM EMS certified shop and if you would like we can do this for you.
But like stated above even a "tuner mastermind" who is not familiar with the AEM box is going to have a lot of trouble due to it's complexity.
Back to the subject at hand the emanage is a great tunning tool allowing a greater range of adjustment than a AFC. It is a very cost effective way to tune your new Scion. I would expect that you would see gains even in a NA TC.

aarontrini85 02-22-2005, 12:04 AM ^ are these things able to be truned on and off? if so i could get my car tuned so when i run my nitrous and then turn it off right? or maybe i could remove power from it by adding a switch if it would keep it setting that is does it need constant power to keep its settings?

youre obviously a **edit**. AEM is about the most precise and exact standalone management yet (available to the public). looks like your boy with the "tt stang" isnt quite the einstein you **edit** to be.

skinny 02-22-2005, 01:30 PM i thought if you used a greddy turbo kit, when it comes out, that they pretune everything for you car so you don't have to touch the emanage system, im not sure just thought i heard that before. And for you folks that know more about it than me, what would the difference make to use something like a greddy turbo and an aem ems, than to use the emanage that it comes with, would it produce more power or what?
-Keith- 02-22-2005, 03:29 PM its all in the tuning....

every car will be a little diff.
plus any other mods you do will change things (even choice of tires effect tuning)
