And I prefer polished/chromed to brushed or sandblasted, with painted or powder coated being a runner up. hotbox05 02-18-2005, 11:30 PM I would love it as is , or painted. peabe 02-18-2005, 11:31 PM its going for $115 at this shop by my house. you think im better off just going with the DC? hotbox05 02-19-2005, 01:04 AM I like the look of it better than the dc. and they all do the same thing so.... Is it worth it for YOU? heme11 02-19-2005, 03:33 AM DC! wyldkard 02-19-2005, 03:41 AM I have the DC and might be selling mine soon. -Z peabe 02-19-2005, 04:19 PM I like the look of it better than the dc. and they all do the same thing so.... Is it worth it for YOU? i think it is. i like the look of it compared to other bars also. avus 02-19-2005, 04:36 PM being that you are in illinois (chicagoland area, i assume), you might want to contact bing (bing7685). he has the exact same strut bar, and can tell you his first-hand account on it. raśl... SXT_HuntToKill 02-19-2005, 04:48 PM are you looking for something that actualy works and cheap do a search on ebay for a guy named Racing 9 Motor he has one i bougth i feel more stiffness outta this one than the dc ScionTist666 03-01-2005, 09:40 PM I got the TRD one. Sweetness!! Cockpit_XB 03-02-2005, 03:21 PM i voted yay, because it looks pretty clean & functional, but for me i dont care what color it comes in or if its carbon fiber or polished, just as long as it works. Rion 03-08-2005, 08:44 PM I vote nay. Strut bars are basically rice. They do little to noticeably improve handling. A thicker rear anti sway bar would be much more logical and produce actual results. TheScionicMan 03-08-2005, 08:57 PM That's true if you had to just pick one mod. IMO, every little bit helps... Rion 03-15-2005, 10:28 PM OK, then I'd say go with a rear antisway, then springs, then wheels and tires, then some frame braces, THEN if you have money left over to burn, get the strut tower bar so you can paint it a pretty color and show it to your friends since that is all it's good for. |
