View Full Version : anyone know how to install perrin crankshaft pulley?

im not sure if this was supposted to come with instructions, but my perrin crankshaft pulley didnt come with any. i have no clue how to install it.

if anyone could please help me out it would be much apprechiated

i think what you got to do is jack up the right side, take off the tire, take off the splash guard thingy there, you should be able to see the pulley, take off the belts, take pulley off, then do it all in reverse.

its only held on with one bolt....

also try searching in at echodrivers.com . A guy posted the instruction with pictures. You can also search on google for general install instruction.

1. raise the car on your front right side

2. remove the wheel.

3. remove the plastic guard in the wheel well, this exposes your stock pulley as was shown in my previous pictures.

4. locate bolt holding pulley and remove with wrench.

NOTE: before removing belts, remember how they run over the other pulleys.

5. remove belts and old pullley.

6. replace with new pulley

7. replace belts :

NOTE: this is made easier by loosening the bolt holding the alternator to the slider and moving the alternator forward with a prybar GENTLY.

8. put the plastic back, put the wheel on lower the car

9. drive...
