So ive been researching and reading info regarding midpipes headers and s-pipes. Im a bit confused as to what to do next and would like some of your opinions. Right now all i have is an injen sri and trd axel-back. Im looking to add something next and im not sure what direction to go.
Ive read conflicting things regarding midpipe and header combos. Some people say that the rasp is worse when you add an aftermarket midpipe. Im not sure whether or not i should leave my stock midpipe and get a header/spipe combo. If i did would this produce more or less noise and rasp than adding an aftermarket midpipe like megan to a header and spipe combo? Or is it all the same noise and raspyness?
I know that you can add resonators to drown out teh sound and rasp some. Would this be better achieved with the stock midpipe or replacing it for an aftermarket one and adding resonators to that?
One more questions. So if i decided to just skip the header and basically replace the s-pipe and midpipe would it be very loud and raspy as well?
Thanks for any info.
