I have the oem fog lights and after 2 years of having them they both got broke in the last week. Im looking for where i can buy replacements or maybe just the lower assembly. Anyone else have this problem?

yes mine was broken my rock hit on the highway.....n i find my replacement from Ebay

trd sparks sells the replacement lens but buying both would pretty end up to buying the whole set and also check the classified section to see if anyone around is selling their oem fog lights. i see that your in pasadena, hit up toyota world in sun valley and see if they have any oem fog lights off a wrecked tc or xb, whichever one it is that you need it for.

Got my 2nd replacement from McGeorges much cheaper than from Toyota. TRDSparks may also have good prices. Rocks took both out at different times in the first year I had the car. Put rockblocker on them and never had an issue again. Well... not until a piece of re-tread on the road took off the whole lower bumper, fogs, splash guards and exhaust hangars a few years later :P

well youre in luck, i have the lower grille assembly (w/o wiring) with both foglights intact for sale hit me up w/ a pm and we can work it out

EDIT: I also have "jdm" style fogs with harness/switch that plug right in the stock harness.

Mine broke when a shredded truck tire hit it on the highway, found the tire still hangin on my car when I got home... kinda ghetto, but since the mounts on the bumper were broken, I just got some L brackets from home depot painted them black and remounted the housing after drilling some holes

^^ That was close to what happened to mine.. but it was a whole re-tread from a truck tire + me driving for 8 hours through the night + no light on the road + me not seeing it till I was right on top of it since there was a very slight rise in the road. At 80mph, my car lost the whole lower part of the bumper along with the damage under the car I mentioned :P

For just the lights, they are $132 EACH at McGeorge, and $145 EACH at Sparks - plus shipping.
There are OEM 'type' replacements on ebay, with bulbs, for $98 for the pair. Free shipping. This is less than what you would pay for one OEM.
OEM type means they are not Toyota, but they fit the same, and look almost identical. Search 'scion tc OEM fog' and you'll see them, seller is 'gummysource'.
They're not bad for the price, I bought a set. Look pretty much the same. Unless you MUST have OEM (for what - to get broken again?), these are a cheaper alternative.
Used OEM is even better, if you can get a good condition set for a good price.

And rockblockers are a good idea, so you hopefully don't ever have to buy another set of fogs. Plus, keeps the lenses from getting chipped. Mine had 100K on them before replacing, and they were so chipped up with little nicks you couldn't even tell the glass was supposed to be clear - looked 'frosted'.

Just do what I did - break out the old lens completely, dremel out all the glue left behind, fill it with a weatherproof adhesive, and stick sheets of lexan over the top. Takes maybe an hour, and looks great. Also stronger then the originals.
