i don't want to get other springs because they'd require to get another set of struts. TRD springs are made for the stock shocks too.

which one has better handling performance? TRD lower springs that lowers the center of gravity, or ingall 4 point brace that stiffens the rear more.

right now i have TRD front strut tie bar and TRD Rear Sway bar.

Springs without a doubt.
There are other springs out there that will not require you to upgrade your struts.

I would go springs. TRD drops a good height for autocrossing.

I ran H&R sport springs for 2 years without replacing the struts. There are others, Tein H techs for example.

Or you could buy my Eibach Pro-Kit springs for $150, and then you'd have money left over for a Big Mac wit' cheese.....

did you use stock struts or aftermarket struts with those?

I used the stock struts, I actually have the stock struts laying around, they have about 20,000 miles with stock springs on them and about 2,000 miles with the Eibach springs on them.

You could just use my stock struts if you were totally extremely over-worried about your struts struts going out lol, you'd only be out $50

...Ride was great, i really liked that setup. I'd do like $200 for the springs and struts, but the shipping would go up considerably because of the weight ya know?

But I mean shoot me an offer and I can get a quote on shipping and such to see what I can do.

i say either..
i have the brace... and it helped more than the springs ever would.

so i'm leaning more towards the brace...

if you do go springs..
go htech... little more agrresive than the trd's

according to some sources online, htech are only 1 inch drop and TRDs are 1.25

how is htech more agressive?

and there are other website said it will drop 1.9 front and 1.5 rear. i don't think stock shocks are made for those, there fore eventually i'll sitll have to replace the stock shocks and struts, which i don't think i'll be able to cough up the money for.

why does every one say that the TRD brand u're paying extra for the name? where so far the TRD lowering springs are the cheapest in the market than any other brand.

i went to toyota today and ask them for labor to install trd lowering springs, they said .... 7 hours so ... 700 bucks. i laugh at them and walked away.

Well if you were going to buy the springs why don't u just install them yourself? It's so easy with a decent set of wrenches/sockets and a spring comressor u can rent from orielys or autozone lol

according to http://www.2kracing.com/Product/8874.html and
http://www.tein.com/price/scion.html ( Tein's official website) H tech are 1.9 front and 1.5 rear.

i have TRD spring, I kinda wish i went with H Tech, because tc's have large fender well in the front. The front needs to be lower for the whole car to look even.
But i got the TRD springs for $100 new, i am not complaining.

im planning on doing for autocross, shouldn't a even (same) drop be more usefull?

and a lot of peolpe said 1.5 + drop is too much to a point where your car will start handling in a negative way.

I guess for the htechs they make it "look better" for a lower drop, but exclude the handling portion.

Just installed my eibach pro kit on the stock struts. Looks great and the drop after it settles is about 1.3" around.

Eiback vs TRD

Which one has a LESS harsh ride? Any other advantages/disadvantages please list.

Well the eibach are a little firmer than stock but overall I'd say they're on the lessbouncy side of lowering springs. The spring rates aren't anything crazy

any one got a picture of the TRD springs drop?
