So my ac power outlet does not work anymore... it is very inconvenient... can't charge my phone and gps... does anyone know how to fix it? I think it is the fuse....

which fuse is it? I don't know where does it locate at in the fuse box.

 

owners manual to find the location of the box and the lid will tell u which fuse it is.

 

I second JJ; the only AC power I get is from my Farm and Fleet special 120V inverter. Does the 2010 xD have a built-in inverter?

 

if something electrical doesnt work the first thing you do is check your fuses and you can get a test light from any parts store for cheap...somethings you just have to have as a car owner and i believe that should be one...and i am sure he means dc

 

i own one, and no it doesn't. the cigarette plug (which i think he means) is straight DC.

only way to get AC on a car is to have an inverter.

oh and the fuse is either in the engine compartment, next to the battery (that big square thing with the removable lid) or under your steering column, on the left hand side. you have to pop off the "lid" and look at the fuse layout on it.
