Hey all, was wondering if there are any Scion-sponsored or Scion Dealer car shows scheduled yet for 2010 in the MD area - haven't seen a single Scion-only car show posted up anywhere yet this season for the PA/MD area, other than the Scion tC/iQ event in B-more this weekend - which I heard was a real bust up in NYC, not worth the time... so what be happenin' south of the Mason-Dixon? I made it down to Lustine, Russell, and Show of Champions last year... anything on the Scion schedule yet for May or June 2010?

 

you could always drive out to oklahoma for asylum in june. i went last year. its pretty cool if your into lights and such.

 

Yes, I'm aware of Asylum, may even go this year, but I'm looking for any local shows, within a 3-hour drive of Lancaster... I had 2 or 3 Scion shows lined up to go to by this time last year... everything seems to have dried up this year, probably from the crappy economy.

yeah, that's the event I mentioned in my first post - the tC/iQ rsvp show. I heard it pretty much sux - some friends went to the one in NYC, said they had the new tC and iQ there, but no new xB - and you weren't allowed to even TOUCH the vehicles, let alone sit in them or anything - they are the only two cars built yet, so they are totally hands-off... and they said Scion only had a few snacks there, no food spread at all, and they had very little swag to hand out, either. They only stayed a little over an hour, and left. So like I said, not worth the time and travel unless you're really gung-ho about getting a new tC or iQ...

 

We're having an all Scion show down here in Charleston if you want to take a nice winter vacation December 4th!!!

 

will there be prizes/trophies involved?

 

We had a show at our rockville delaership 2-3 weeks ago.

 

We are having a show here at Younger tonight. Trunk or Treat...

 

OF COURSE!!!

We met up with the dealership and some items included in the raffle will be a remote start (including install) and an ipad.

We will be giving away trophies along with an item for each car for each place.

In early December I think ya'll will be good!!! I'll be driving up to PA on Dec 18. That's going to suck But I hope a few of you guys can make it down!! Some major items we're raffling off are a remote start, ipad and a Raceland exhaust for a tc!
