trying to go back to quiet...
i need some advice guys, currently im running the full aftermarket I/H/E with 2 resonators and the second cat was replaced by the 2nd resonator. so im deciding to either put stock headers back in or a new more restrictive axleback but i dont know which will help my exhaust be more quieter. quiet as is almost to no noise!
if i change back to stock headers i know ill lose performance but possibly be alot quieter, and if i change the tsudo axleback to a big muffler ill probably lose little performance but possibly quieter with rasp.. this is what im currently assuming. the point is i wanna reach the quietest as possible to stock so what should i do between these 2 decisions?

its good to have some "backpressure" right? i live in the city so mid-range power is what i need and the top-end dc 4-1 headers is pretty much useless, correct me if im wrong. my spipe, midpipe with 2 resonators, and axleback are aftermarket by the way
by the way im selling my dc headers, its thermo-wrapped and thermo-sprayed!

If you're willing to put stock header back on why not just do that and use the stock muffler leaving your 2 resonators in place.
Why did you do the upgrades if you want quiet exhaust in the first place?

i too am tired/annoyed a bit with my loud ARK N-1 exhaust with no cats and the one resonator it comes with... it doesnt sound raspy AT ALL eventhough i have a 4-1 header but it is pretty loud especially when going up a hill and being in 4-5th gear...ugh its loud... im going to put a cat on the midpipe and call it a day
