ive been looking to get a lambo kit and dont know if the money is worth it, anyone wanna help?

let me help. that garbage is not worth it. use the money for something more clean looking.

Not worth it, even if you find a lambo kit for cheap you would still have to get your wires extended, fenders rolled, and not to forget the stress it puts on your springs and shocks.

because these things dont add much weight........... and have nothing to do with the suspension in any way........:rolling:

unless the doors magically gain weight....or something physically and equally implausible occurs .

hinges are pretty heavy, and from what i remember you have to roll the fender near the door so the hinge has room to open and swing up.

this was on a civic mind you like 6 years ago so idk how different it is now, either way its disgusting

35 lbs for a heavier set.......i would avoid getting into your car altogether if this seriously is a concern......or having passengers....or eating that mc double...

BUT mind you this was about 6-8 yrs ago when the whole lambo door thing started, and hinges back then were heavier and bulkier as opposed to the lighter thinner hnges of this age

way i see it man is to each his own; just dont go cheap as i know someone who tried the ebay kit that was supposed to be a $400 bolt on and needless to say almost lost his whole door when it couldnt hold the weight and nothing would match up (fitment was bad) and like others said you will need to extend the wires as well for them to work

Lambo doors aren't that bad, they're just not a new trend in the show circuit.

LSD doors are expensive, but they are quality built. I've seen these on several high-end cars...not Lambos :o)

Personally, I'd buy something a little more useful like wheels, performance upgrades, suspension parts, etc. Do what you like bro...be different.

Get some carbon fiber doors because we have really heavy doors. This will help with sagging around the hinge.

you can pull the door bars from the stock door and mod them to fit, but really these were intended for cars with a cage.

make sure u go all out on the show car status cuz no ones gonna wanna see that near a track, make us all look worse, and dont cheap out n bend a hinge or lose your door

^^agreed; there's someone on here that has them and didnt paint em; that would be like getting a CF hood and painting it to match the car

I like a cf hood tho, i just think doors by itself would look funny. But ive never seen them myself so mayb im wrong

YES!

You do have to shave a little off the fender to allow room for the hinge to open.

You do not have to extend wiring harnesses. There is plenty of wire in the door. All you need to do is unclip a few places the wires are held inside the door and you will have plenty of slack.
