Thought I'd but this up to ease the pain of waiting for your RS 1. I put my money down. The dealer keeps telling me March. What does your dealer say?

Supposedly March, but I don't see it on the allocation list yet. I had my deposit switched from a black 5spd to the RS =P

I'm in Northeast Texas and my dealer is telling me that the Scion Corporate rep he is speaking with was in their dealership on friday and said that April was when they would be out. He is guaranteed at least 1 RS 1.0, according to Scion Corp., and that one is mine. :D

What are they telling you on the preferencing down in South Texas?

My dealer doesn't know squat, but says March based on the info on Scion.com. Says the only way to "guarantee" one is to put $500 down, which is on the way.

Well I got March here too so if any one heres any different please let me know. I would like to hear a set date that we will receive them. :cry:

my corporate rep said the LA region will be getting them in March for sure.

my scion peeps tell me march. they also say they are guaranteed at least one and i am the only one on the list. if scion makes me wait too much longer i'm gonna be forced to get a 05 mustang

dang, believe it or not but Power Toyota of Cerritos keeps tellin me they'll have it in FEB. i actually went down there today and talked to the third different person, one toyota manager, one scion manager, and one salesman. anyway today i asked to speak directly to the scion manager and i asked him when it'd be in, and he said "w'll have it before the end of february." he also said i have his word...that made me ponder whether or not to trust a car salesman's word...haha im sure i'll get an interesting responce to any salesman on the forum!!

I've got my $500 down and the dealer told me first week of March as well for NJ. The night I put my deposit down, he had lunch with his regional Scion rep in the morning and the rep told him the beginning of March. I hope thats accurate. I also have the first one preference at my dealer. Hello Hot Lava xB 5spd. :D

I don't know how much longer I can wait. :?

My dealer called last night. Some big wig east coast scion dude was there earlier. My dealer asked about the status of the RS1.0 release. The guy told them they will start coming into dealers during the first allocation in March. My dealer told him he has 3 people that have preferenced it. The guy told him to get all the info together on the 3 for a little sit down meeting on Friday to discuss them. :D

Well I dont know but I wish my dealer would tell me a little more about the release date of the 1.0 Im kinda of ichey for it. Any word of them making it to port yet? Anyone in here work at the LB Port here in Cali can tell us any good news. :cry:

I just called my dealer, and if your in the NorthEast Region ( NJ, NYC, PA ) your dealer wont be getting their allocation in until the 25th. Just passing along some info, dont shoot the messenger.

My dealer emailed me back today and he said that the dealers in the NorthEast get their allocation lists on the 26th of February...which means he should know then what the delivery looks like for all his Scions for the month, including the LavaBox...

No, 25th of Feb. Wed. of this week. AKA Ash Wednesday.

tell your scion dealer just to prefrence one. we did that and i have one in automatic ready 2 go.
