Default QUICKSHIFTER DISCONTINUED

I just saw on scionzone.com that the TRD quickshifter is now discontinued.

Any truth to the rumor?

I going to cop 1 on ebay.

The twm is way expensive and for most xB folks is darned short , try the randode or rs-type. I have the rs-type and couldn't be happier .

The RS-Type is a TRD Quickshifter clone. I heard the assembly isn't of the same quality, though...

I've got the RS-Type as well. I've put about 4,000 on it and don't have any complaints. I wrote a review in the products section if anyone's interested.

By the way, if the TRD is, in fact, discontinued, there are probably still some available at several dealers. I wouldn't wait to long to get one, though.

I would at the minimum call and ask about their stock and how long they think it should last .

well...I called a local dealer where I work. they said they I could still get it... I didn't mention that i heard it was discontinued.... Said I could order it and have it in about 4 days..and also cheaper than the 159 price..he quoted me for 140...I did tell him I work for Lexus and if I get a discount....So, I will order it I think.

NOT!!!!!!!! just emails Ken at sparks... he said that TRD has "not" discontinued any of the short throw shifters...

i quote his email.. hope he does not mind...

" I just talked one of the guys in the back at TRD and they have not
discontinued any shifters. Sounds like some dealer wants to unload some
stock and thought he would stir the pot. Or someone with way too much time
on his hands wanted to have some fun with everyone. "
