Hi guys, this weekend i heard weird noise from my rear. To my surprise the rear sway bar cracked at the end of the bar. I still on stock spring and shocks. It’s my daily car so I don’t push it hard. I had them for about a year to a year and half. One of the very first mod I did when I bought the car.

 

suggest you call them for a replacement.

 

Ya i was going to try to call them on monday.

 

Wow... It's not even the weld that broke, but the tab itself!

 

And with that... I'm now going to buy the Eibach kit.

I have Hotchkis too.

 

i put about 60k on the sway bars. I have an 1 and half drive to work..

 

I just talk to the people at hotchikis. They were more then happy to send me a replacement only i send them picture of the sway bar and the car. To make sure its not cause of an auto accident.

 

Wow I've never heard of a broken sway. Good to hear they're going to send you a replacement. That is some good service.

 

A hell of a lot better than TRD. My TRD rear sway bar broke in the same place and TRD isn't covering it since I just turned 43k mikes on my '08. Bought the rear sway and front brace when I Bought the car and had the dealer install. Basically since TRD didn't actually make the sway bar, It was sourced through a 3rd party, they aren't replacing them even though they have since redesigned and given the new sway bar a different number.

 

This car must really benefit from a rear sway bar for it to see so much stress. Makes me want one even more!
