I just ordered the apt fogs and was wondering what you guys recomend for bulb replacement,HID kit or a pair of PIA extreme white?

 

well judging what you said in that other guys thread you dont have APTs you have those "JDM" ones.

however, Im pretty partial to yellow so that is why i have nokya 2500k bulbs in my apts

 

Same here I have 2500k nokya in mines too. I did have 3000k HIDs but got rid of those. I really like my nokyas.

 

I think im gona try nokya ARCTIC white,the bulbs are H3 for the apt's right? I did have the Jdm's but they didnt fit with the oem gfx lip so i sold to them off,I now ordered the APT'S as I hear these will fit the gfx lip,Im not crazy about yellow,you dont see many if any at all yellow fogs here in brooklyn,I did have them on my previous car and sometimes the cops gave me a hard time.

can anyone provide some pics of the yellow and white nokya bulbs ? Id like to see how they look or maybe you can redirect me to another thread that might have pics.thanks

thanks,I just had my apt's put in,the guy didnt have nokyas instead ha had these made by sparks,so far they look pretty good in the day,I will post some night pics tomorrow,I also had the westwing roof spoiler put on and some new chrome rims.Oh and by the way those are the original apt bulbs in the package.

Im going with the yellow temporarily,they really arent street legal over here in NY,I just picked up a pair of PIAA extreme white 4000k for $25,they will soon be replacing the yellow.

 

i left mines with the ones they came with work just fine

 

umm yellow isn't illegal in NY, I live in NYC and own 2500k nokya's. if that was the case all stock is300, old GS 300's and other stock cars with yellow fog's wouldn't be legal here and wouldn't be on sale.

now if you had blinding HID's that's another story

 

iv been stopped several times in staten island when i had my honda prelude with yellow piaas and was told any colored lights are for emergency vehicles only ,im just repeating what the cop told me

 

Dealers don't have to sell state street legal cars.

 

i didnt have hid's they were a set of piaa full foglight set,that car didnt come with a fog option back then so i added my own,they were bright tho,maybe that why i got bothered and then again there are some cops that have nothing better to but break chops,
