I've got a set of Drag DR 34s (pictured below) and I'm wanting to get rid of the red lip so that they are all black. What would be the best way to do this? Would I need to powder coat the entire wheel black?

The reason I'm looking to do this is because my car is basically blacked out (BSP w/ blacked out tails and side blinkers) and has little to no red on it. I was debating on painting my tC emblem red and the inserts behind the Scion emblem red.. but I'm a bit skeptical as to how that would turn out. :S

"I see a red lip and i want to paint it black."

Honestly, i like the red lip. If you want to get rid of it you could either try to paint just the lip with some sort of paint and a steady hand or you could powdercoat. The second option is much more expensive, it's up to you.

Get a good paint brush, get good auto paint, get a bar stool, get a friend to spin bar stool while you hold brush steady. Job done!
