Default need help, line out converter wiring

ok, my friend gave me this:
http://tinypic.com/1sl3te
it has 2 greeen wires, one with a black stripe, it also has 2 blue wires, one with a black stripe, it has one solid black wire.
the other end has the rca's.

ok, i'm not sure if i have this right, i might have it mized, left to right, but that doesn't matter, it's going to a single sub.

hook up the green striped to left rear negative = yellow wire
hook up the green solid to left rear positive = black wire

hook up the blue striped to the right rear negative = white wire
hook up the blue solid to the right rear positive = red wire

did i get the polarity right? also, are the channels correct?
what do i hook up the black wire to? ground?
also, the grey wire is the trigger switch for the amp turn on right?
i'm not new at installing stereos, just that i've never installed one on a system with no pre-outs before. let me know, thanks dudes

the polarity issue doesn't matter at all......the black goes to ground....and i'd go to another source for remote..like the fuse panel....
