Anyone has the megan drift spec exhaust with custom piping to the cat?
i have the drift spec but its not custom, and if you do get the drift spec, people might modify the midpipe and add a cat if they have a header or another resanator, but the drift spec alone sounds awesome........no need for custom piping, unless you buy a universal megans muffler,
i dont think you can get just the muffler unless it was cut off from the piping of the actual drift spec exhaust.......i know you can get other megan racing mufflers but the drift spec muffler itself dont sell seperate....
but yes,its the muffler that makes the sound,so a custom piping to the muffler wil sound the same as if you bought it from the manuafature....just wont sound as loud depending if you cut after the cat or take out the second cat and just leave in the resanator..

actually no,if he gets custom piping from the cat to the back,it wont be as loud as if he were to replace the midpipe with a small resanator....and take out the second cat..
if he take out the stock cat and resnantor then yes ill be loud,
if you get custom piping after the cat and take out the stock resanator and do like 2 1/2 piping ill sound loud but no to loud cause you stil have the second cat....but ill sound nice cause youll have the megan muffler at the end....
if your going custom route,i will do 2 1/2 from the cat to the exhaust, you can add a small resanator if you choose too,but yes, from the cat to the exhaust it will sound good, and a little loud but not as loud as if you would replace the midpipe with the one that megan supplies with the drift spec exhaust,
its up to you if you keep your midpipe, ill still sound good, only way you can make it sound raspy and loud if you add a header, you can do a full custom exhaust with a downpipe and maybe a big ressantor in the midpipe and ill still sound good,
