Default Installed Injen Short Ram!!!

Wasnt the easiest thing in the world considering this is my first install of anything under the hood. I DIDNT EVEN THROW A CEL It came with the inline diffuser thinggy which is cool, i took of the engine cover and removed the battery (was hoping i didnt have to because im not too keen on messing with the +/- posts and all). anyway...

I LOVE THE SOUND! doesnt sound too much different at part throttle but at WOT its deep and throaty and the throttle response is much better! and its pretty...and i have sticker slol...i had a perma smile (mostly cause it was snowing and 30 degrees out and i couldnt move my face lol)

well my tax check is late so hopefully ill be giving stylis a call by the end of the week to get the ball rolling

Congrats on your purchase and successful install.
I just sold a bunch of old parts on Ebay...and bought an Injen intake. I still get to put $150 in the bank. I think the Injen is a good design, and I think it's been proven on here time and time again. I'm stoked!

Good choice, I enjoyed installing mine too, and sounds great, Looks good after removing all the OE black box junk out of the way. Kind of hard to clean, you will find out!!

I was thinking about adding a Injen short ram. I am glad to hear so many positive responses. I read the links by the hardcore guys and they say get Cold Air Intake or nothing. Im gonna wait til the Spring but its definitely near the top of my MOD list.

I've had my Injen SR since it was first released almost a year and a half ago, and have had no problems w/ it.

I have another one that was anodized that I'm just too lazy to put in ayt the moment.

The filter sits in the fender from what I can tell, and it's a nice straight shot to the TB. No curves = more intake velocity or at least smoother travels (as opposed to having some 90* bends in the path) don't you think?

I'm planning to get that next, hopefully before Exposed.
Best price I found for the black coated one was $169.99.
Any help for better prices?
Thanks.

I am getting the Injen SR also very soon. What do you mean by you like the sound. This will be my first intake so I have no idea about these sort of things. With this and my soon to be installed precision muffler auto axleback im hoping for a great sound and some more get up and go.
