Cameron 02-21-2005, 11:25 PM The seems were fine in my XB after 18K miles. There was one little frey on the passenger seat where it looks like a button or something sharp got caught, then pulled up from the seat. Nothing major, just annoying. The overall shape held up very well. chadfo 02-21-2005, 11:31 PM 29K on mine and they still look great. hotbox05 02-21-2005, 11:58 PM Mine show a lil wear but still comfy , and fully filled , the foam hasnt deteriorated or anything . OakToddler 02-22-2005, 02:49 AM  Sublimize23 02-22-2005, 04:17 AM it seems that the really soft foam would wear really quickly, but that doesn't seem to be the case. SuperCrunchyAction 02-22-2005, 04:28 AM I have 3000 miles on my xb and the seats still look new. Granted, that's not much mileage though. I'm going to get a leather kit this year or next year so I don't really mind if the seats wear now. 7red7 02-22-2005, 05:26 AM Just over 14,000 miles on mine and they're holding up great :D TJ 02-22-2005, 05:55 AM The seats are still in good condition. the cloth part that you rub first thing entering the vehicle is slightly worn but not noticable, after 33k miles. The cushions are still firm. agi_jw 02-22-2005, 02:11 PM I had problem with my. the foam or cover got stretch out in drivers seat .... i guess from sliding down (dont ask why but i do that alot!) went to dealer and they order new one. i just have to find time now to get them replaced. scottwood2 02-22-2005, 11:24 PM 8000 miles and I have noticed a little wear on the right side seat but not too bad. A lttle supreised for 8 months old though. Will have to wait and see. I love the feel of them. Good support. agi_jw 02-24-2005, 04:45 PM I did drop off my xB today for seat cover/foam replacement so i'll see how it looks whent its all done. i got the car 9/22/04 ... but like i said before i like to slide on my seat so it might have got loose because of that. and guess what? as a rental/swap they gave me COROLLA! wow, i never knew that this car is THAT small!! How glad am i to have xB :relief: disco 02-24-2005, 05:09 PM Go leather! It will cost some $$'s but well worth it. Shop around and do front first then backs, whatever works on your budget. big_c 02-24-2005, 06:47 PM I had problem with my. the foam or cover got stretch out in drivers seat .... i guess from sliding down (dont ask why but i do that alot!) me too. my drivers seat cloth has loosened up in the ___ area. Its like an elephants skin now. im gonna wait till I get a few more miles on mine before I get it fixed. Pimpe_Ok 02-24-2005, 07:07 PM  now is the remolding or titening of the "___" area of the seat coverd under the worenty or is every one just shelling out chash to get this fixed?? 05Xbizal 02-24-2005, 09:26 PM mine are flaying but no biggy i will soon buy racing seats CBSIMONSEZ 02-24-2005, 11:36 PM Wow, now i see that several people are having the same issue i brought up last Oct. In my box, the drivers side seat bottom looked like a speed bump was installed after i got out of it. Im a big guy, ( 6'2" @225#s ) but common, im not that big. Long story short, i brought it to the dealer last year, and was deneyed any way of fixing it. With all that was going on over the past few months, i just let it go. One day, out of the blue, Scion Corp. called about a questioniare i filled out when i bought the box, and complained about the suspension being too stiff. I told then about the seat, so the regional guy looked at it last Tues. What he had the dealer do is to undo the HOG RINGS on the underside of the seat, and restretch the fabric. It looks better now, but well see what it looks like in the future. I did notice that if it was hot out, or if i sat in the seat for an extended period of time, the "speed bump" would be more pronounced. Like i said, well see. The regional guy said that there isnt much more he can do, including replacing the seat. For his sake, i hope so. Otherwise, ill have to talk to his boss personally. I never understood why we ( Scion owners ) have to "deal"with the little problems like the seats, or the floor mats. Hopefully Scion Corp. isnt slacking when it comes to customer satisfaction. Hopefully. mynameisphunk 02-25-2005, 03:31 AM the general shape of my seats are still great after 22k in 9 months, and i'm 6'4" 260. the only problem i ran into is the corners of the pockets on my favorite pair of shorts was a little too abrasive for the soft delicate cloth on the center sections of the seats and really made the fabric quite fuzzy and frayed on 1 3x3" section. XBman 02-25-2005, 04:39 AM the general shape of my seats are still great after 22k in 9 months, and i'm 6'4" 260. the only problem i ran into is the corners of the pockets on my favorite pair of shorts was a little too abrasive for the soft delicate cloth on the center sections of the seats and really made the fabric quite fuzzy and frayed on 1 3x3" section. wow! mucho miles! mynameisphunk 02-25-2005, 05:47 AM 100 mile round trip commute every day, and lots of road trips. a month and a half of that time my car was in the body shop waiting for a back-ordered suspension crossmember, too! bBTOY 03-03-2005, 05:22 AM Change Your Shorts !!! Buy another Favorite Pair . pair is not enough . On mine , after 5300mi. , the Butt piece on the drivers , stretches a bit , and maybe this is the " Speed bump " but after I get out , by the next time I go to the xB , that stretching seems to have gone . But, it comes back EVERYTIME . So Im watching these , That square does seem to be some Delicate fabric . Im now at 7200mi. and its still the same , stretches then goes back ..... redneck69 03-03-2005, 07:37 AM my cat sorta attacked my seats during a road trip to ohio. i didnt have him in a cage |
