Factory fog lights issue
I just added a set of the factory fogs to my xB. I noticed that the driver's side light doesn't fit as securely as the one on the passenger side. I can move it around a little bit by touching it, which in turn moves the beam of the lights. I can only do it on the driver's side light and not the passenger, which is strange to me.
I figure I should take it out and put some electrical tape around the mounting tab on the back to take up some of the slack and stop it from moving around when I go over bumps or rough roads. Just wondering if anyone else has had to do anything similar. If so, do you have any suggestions or anything to make this less of a headache? Seems like taking the light back out will be a pain in the butt, but it bugs me to have a light that moves around like that. Thanks for any help.

mine are kinda loose too. 'Not sure if they're as loose as what you describe. But, they put out so little light that noone will be blinded, or even notice, that your fogs are bouncing around like Pamela Anderson.

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I did put on the little plastic things, so I'm not sure why only the one side is loose. I think I'll try taking it out and seeing if there is an obvious reason why.
kacosta: The dealer didn't put my lights in, I did. I have a feeling they wouldn't be jumping to do repairs. You have any idea where I can find the bulletin you're talking about? I've never seen it. Ashlee Simpson is Jessica Simpson's freeloading, talentless little sister.

Ok, I took them out and wrapped some electrical tape around the mounting tab on the outside edge of the lamp. It seems like it did the trick. My guess is that Toyota made the hole the tab goes into a bit too big, or the tab itself too small.
