Thanks in advance hotbox05 02-22-2005, 02:01 AM Yes , what you have to do is remove the little brass piece halfway down the strut , do so with a screwdriver and hammer , do not worry it is not dangerous on these vehicles , after that you slip the sleeves on then tighten them to the shock body , after that you replace the brass cap with a few light taps of the hammer. ala zam!!! oh and so you know unlike what the ebay listing says the lowest you can possible go is just over 3 inches up front and about 2.5 or so in the back. good luck and post pics when finished!!! Munch 02-22-2005, 12:34 PM YUP!! That's how it's done. unlmtdndeavor 02-22-2005, 07:42 PM can someone post some pics up of them slammed. also, how low can you go with 22/34/19's? As of right now the front is at about 2.75 inch drop and the rear is about 2.5 inch , this is as low as the rears can possibly go , the fronts could go about half an inch lower but there would be absolutely no shock travel left , I like a little bit of shock travel. This is my intermediate suspension between stock and air ride. I have been very happy with them , I am lower than just about all other springs out there , the ride is stiff but not unbearable. My springs cost about 100 shipped , I believe they were either a-spec brand or rs-type brand . I purchased them from either k2motor , vertexracing , or racing9motor on ebay , lol . I forget and it's too old of a listing to check , I frequent all of those sellers , all are very good guys , with good service , quick shipping and just about the best products out there for the money. obone 02-23-2005, 04:00 AM Well I got them on Thanks to texasicebox and dmoldman.. thanks guys.. rear still alittle high hope it settles some.. front looks sweet will try and get some pics on hotbox05 02-23-2005, 09:27 AM Well I got them on Thanks to texasicebox and dmoldman.. thanks guys.. rear still alittle high hope it settles some.. front looks sweet will try and get some pics onTo get the rear as low as possible remove the adjustable part from the rear and use the actual rear perch . It gave me an extra .5-.75 inch. but you could always cut the springs a bit. jynx 02-26-2005, 11:37 PM looks great!!! obone 02-28-2005, 02:29 AM http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=212054 http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=212068 http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=212069 |
