this one mounts in the tow hook hole the "JDM" one doesnt, it probably hooks to the lower grill.

Ohh i see how it works, yeah the jdm one looks kinda funny, you have to put in where you normally would put your license plate at and then it offsets it

Thanks everyone for your compliments on the relocation kit.
This is the first we have heard of the jdm kit. Not sure exactly how it's mounted.

Our kit utilize your factory tow hook for mounting the License plate.
This will eliminate drilling holes in your OEM or aftermarket front bumpers.

Oh yeah your way is by far way better, im pretty sure the jdm one hooks onto the lower grille, but its a universal one, not a tC specific

After looking at the components of that kit, I believe you are right about it being a universal kit.

Our kit is definitely Scion tC specific, mainly the tow hook portion.

I just placed an order for $70, that's pretty expensive for something that's a novelty especially if you're anything like me, and the dealer screwed their *****-tag on the front through the bumper, so it's 2 nice holes there that I filled with silicone. I supposed if this thing can double as a tow-hook then perhaps the dual-purpose is worth the $$. I don't live in a state that requires front license plates, thank goodness.

Meh, $70 for a relocator is really steep to me. No doubt it installs a bit easier and looks nice...but man...that's like 3 weeks of gas for me!!

I got mine here on the classifieds for $20 shipped I think.
