Ok, rather then bump the first thread, and no one notice, i thought i would create a new one and inform ya'll to what is going on.

I couldnt take it any more, so rather then go postal, i called the dealer again this evening, and this is what i was told. I am the FIRST RS1 out of Toyota of Runemede ( my dealer ) and that the inventory manager was told Friday by the regional manager that because of complications, the first allotment of RS1 for my region ( NJ, NY, & CT ) would not show up till April. That is why my dealer told me April, not because of an order issue. IF, and that is a BIG IF, if they do send one out to each dealer in March, then i would be getting that one first, because i am the first for my dealer to have one on order. He told me that no matter what, when the first one rolls off the truck, its gonna have my name on it. So, it appears that there may be a snaffu in production, and this is why im being told April. I can breath now.....

I dont think GIECO can offer me anything better then the insurance i have now. i have had them for over 10 years now, and my rates cant be beat. Besides, ill loose out on my discount on my home owners insurance if i change.

That is almost exactly the same thing that my dealer told me today. I guess that there really is a snag in production. My dealer did tell me i was the first person to order a RS 1.0 here and I am guaranteed one, as soon as they come in.
