My Light came on just before I had the oil changed but its still on.. I did a search and tried the reset method that was in the book as well as here posted in the forum but nothing seems to work..
In my book it says to turn the key to the OFF position and hold the trip button down adn turn the key to ON hold for 5 seconds and reset..
It also says the off position the odo will be on..
All I have is ACC ON START
Given that the ACC is off and on is on then it should work but my odo does not come on when clicked over to ACC just the cd player comes on. My odo will come on when the keys is "on"
Any help would be appreciated

Push in the ODO button. while holding in turn key to "ON", continue to hold ODO button in for 5 secs... done. I've got three oil changes in and just ignored the light unitl it drove me crazeee. I followed the manual and all is fine. I reset every 3thou when i change oil so that it won't bug me. Hope this helps.

First off, did you get the dealership do the oil change? If yes, you might want to go back and have them reset the light. Hope this helps.

sounds like we're confusing ACC with OFF... OFF is completely OFF, such as before you even insert the key in the ignition...

First you have to push in the button with it on and then turn it off while having the button pushed in still. Turn it back on and then you will see some lines that go away the longer you keep it pushed in. Once the lines are gone the light will be off. At no time release the button until the lines are gone.

Now that im looking at scion's faq it is misleading if your suppose to push the button while the odo is on
"1. Turn on the ignition and make sure it is on your odometer display, not the trip display.
2. Turn off your ignition. Hold down the trip meter reset button and turn the ignition on. Keep the button pushed in.
3. The maintenance required light will flash for a few seconds. when it turns off, let go of the reset button.
"
Number 2 says to turn the ignition off and push the button
