The xB has always appeared to me to have a lot of "room" just behind the front wheel and before getting to the front door. Somehow it looks like it needs something there. I was in Advance Auto yesterday and say these "fender vents" that just apparently stick on. Have you seen anything like this on the second gen xB? I have spent half an hour online looking and could not find. I tried to paste it on an xB in Corel Paint Shop Pro but could not get the background white to match the color of my car. Honestly, I would not do this to my car. It always looks tacky and just stuck on. No one believes that they are functioning fender vents. They are the definition of R.I.C.E. and, apart from their cosmetic function, they are completely pointless. If you want a functional fender flair, or at least something that could be made functional, looking into an aftermarket fender. Extreme dimensions makes one that looks much better than a stick on ever could.

In my honest opinion.. pasting on fake side vents is like painting fake abs on yourself when you've got a beer belly. Everyone knows they are fake, but if it makes you feel better, then by all means, go ahead.

Honestly, they're tacky, and most cars have them. Ignore the fenders and instead, consider chrome door handles or window trim if you want to make the box stand out better.

For a while, I debated on whether or not I should get chrome pillar trim, but they go great with my theme for my box. Here's an unfinished picture for you:

What are you talking about? You didn't know that Nissan was partnered with British-based company Aston Martin? From 1992-1994, Nissan magically decided to become a high-end luxury brand before it returned back to middle class cars. Then they made Infiniti to appeal to the upper middle class before manufacturing stick-on circle vents to appeal to Aston Martin fans. But then John Walsh descended from heaven and decided to have those stick-on vents manufactured exclusively for Pep Boys before Wal-Mart stepped in on the market.

I think you should just add a second set of euro side markers and your initials with those terrible chrome letters right above and below the vents... That would add like 10hp minimum and give you street cred big time. Or just get stick on paint job decals like Pasquale... LOL. Seriously, you'll end up on someones forum in the off topic section faster than you can say your own name if you add anything like that to your car... Just my .02 cents.

The VW looks kinda cute with that gizmo (just barely fits in there). Would have been better on the rear quarter though, then it would appear as if it were feeding a Porsche engine.
