Default Weird squeaking sound

I have a weird squeaking sound coming from my First gen xB, year 2006. It has around 85k miles on it (with alot of life left). The main problem I am having is a squeaking sound coming from my box. It sounds like the squeaking is coming from outside wheel area. I am not sure what it is. I have had the xB into a garage to look at the brakes and they are fine. I have not had any garage look at anything else just trying to see if anyone has an idea on what this may be.

I am sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have searched all over the internet and can not seem to find anything.

any ideas?

is the squeak constant?

only when you turn?

is it from the engine/drivetrain or the steering?

Yeah it sound like it is outside, and it sound like it goes in turn with the spinning wheel. It gets faster when I go faster and vice versa. It happens while driving straight, turning, etc.
This also dose not happen all the time, just to often.

I think i had the same problem does it sound like this only when you brake.

I cleaned the braking assembly and lubed it and went away for a week then came back im stumped as well.

I think it may be the piston or the shim around the brake pad

Just1n, how would I tell if the shroud around the rotor is bent? Also wouldn't a company who just serviced my brakes tell me if it was? Would would be the fix?

lltysonll, That is not what is sounds like.

MadMike550, I wonder if that is what it is..

Really it sounds like a metal on metal sounds in tune with the wheel. Also my brakes make a louder sound while backing up.. I'll see if I can make a video of the sounds somehow.
