I did a quick search and didnt find exactly what i was looking for. My question is this: Does anyone with a 5-spd know what their RPM's are in 5th gear at about 80mph? Mine are about 4100 and at 75mph its at about 3900- Does this seem right or should I have it checked out? I know I read that the autos are at about 3100 at 80mph- and I know that they have OD- but just thought that 5th and 4th gear should have a little more seperation in the RPM range than mine does. I use the parkway everyday so I'm constantly at 80mph. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Travis

yea buddy,

The 5 speed is geared that way. All is normal with your ride. The automatics are much more relaxed, but, they are also not as punchy as your five speed. You do have more get up and go with your 5 speed, but the automatic is the 'relaxed' cruiser on the interstate.
