Okay, so i know this may sound a little weird. But I have noticed this 2 times now with my clutch.

If I drive for an extended period of time and I am guessing here (something gets hot) my clutch pedal feels a little weird as in.. spongy and seems to be letting out of gear closer to the floor than originally upon startup. I also adjusted the pedal engagement spot per a DIY on here. That is because when i first installed the clutch it would engage very close to the floor.

This is a stage 5 CC clutch kit ( new disc and pressure plate). I had this installed for about a month or so.

That's pretty normal for a clutch such as the one you are using. Now about your "spongy" feel, not too sure on that. Any odd noises after the install?

well i might be wrong on the spongy. nothing out of the normal at all. it's not even that much harder. it just feels like it engages at a different point. I appreciate the help. THANKS

that is your comp clutch my friend... welcome to the life of others whove bought that same clutch....

from now until the day u take it out you will experience spongy clutch feel, inconsistent engagement points, probably a MC failure, throw out bearing failure or a clutch disc failure the list goes on... not to mention you might as well carry a 12mm open end in the car with all the times your gona be down there making adjustments... it never ends!

dont wana be the bearer of bad news but thats the reality with comp clutches on our cars... good luck!

Awesome. wish i would have seen that first. I guess the only thing positive out of all of that is that i don't have a sprung clutch... don't know if that makes any difference.
