I would like to give the storage boxes in teh back that smooth fiber glass look. Think it would be ok to just throw some resin over the fabric already on the back hatches and sand smooth and paint?

Make a new cover out of clear plexiglass. Then swap the spare for a matching rim (smaller in size)

That would look hot!

you could just throw the resin over the stock panel and add some fiberglass matte over the split in between , then throw more resin over it and sand it smooth for paint.

Cool I just wanted the smooth look really. Keep the two seperate pieces. So glassing over the split wouldn't be necessary. Ofcourse every month I change my design and mind on what i want to do :)
