tuned... tried to tune my car at bostondyno in MA one word WOW what crap!!!, as the old adage goes you get what you pay for, i paid cheap and got $h!t. first off no street tune AT ALL, first time i went there car did 12AFR at wot for 203-206hp @4.5psi, but horrible drivability on the street,i got 4mpg on the way home, in open loop no boost i was below 10 AFR so went back for a fix. next time around 11.5 AFR at wot, street drivability still sucked he blamed my turbo!!!!!!!! said it spooled too quickly!!!! when asked what my duty cycle was he said "whatever stock is" when asked if i should go blow-thru he didn't know what it was, at 6psi he was pullung 10 degrees of timing

STAY AWAY FROM BOSTON DYNO

if you want your car dyno'd go for it, for a tune go somewhere else

update: should I ask for my money back he did tell me the 2nd time he did the tune that "once money is in my pocket i dont give it back, but im gonna tell you if your not happy ill refund you"

as of today without messing with fuel maps car runs AFR<10 in open loop

yo u should of went to trickengneering in NH, they do better AWD dyno with dezod S1 it got 280whp and 300tq, and my car with greddy kit 251whp 295wtq at 8psi tuned....Boston dyno is a rippoff they said the same crap to my buudy cessblood and he got 200 hp when that happen they say he max out on the motor...I was like what the helll...

man ive called like EVERY tuner in the MA area noone will touch a tC with ultimate!!!! imma have to go to NH, i was even considering to drive to NY for dezod, or VA for ptuning lol

i have a zpi kit 16g, FMIC, HKS SSQV, 550cc, EMU

the dude that did my car at bostondyno was Tony seriously, "its because your turbo spools up too fast, thats why I can't tune"

Try calling DSG?

Try the greddy base map for now until u get tune...go to NH thats pretty close they do ultimate I had mine tune there...Tricksengineering.com

Wow. Something is going on. I don't understand why no tuner in MA or NH will work with the EMU. Try calling new England dyno.

WoW! I just got this same answer now and am looking for a tuner myself. I was highly recommended to them by Dezod and they said they wont do it. :flame: Where did you end up taking yours?

Try jtmororing.com. I was gonna pick up a turbonetics kit with Emanage and he was gonna install it and tune it.

Dezod recomended Turbokits.com. They're in CT. 2.5 hours away but, they're highly qualified.
